The Buggy Rabbit is so-named as it’s tied with Rabbit fur and is a very Buggy fly.
Tied on a size 14 or 12 hook with a stainless steel or tungsten need, this fly is an adaptation of the the general redtag design
The tail is of red Rabbit fur, the body dubbed with black Rabbit fur – wrapped with shiny red crystal flash – the “hackle” is also black Rabbit.
A very simple pattern that I like to fish for Chub and anything else that may come along.
