The Fry Fly nymph is an attractor style nymph pattern used to tempt Perch and Chub.
Tied on a caddis style hook, the Fry Fly has a red, mylar tinsel butt, a silver, prism mylar tinsel body, peacock herl thorax, red biot wings and a stainless steel bead at the head.
It’s a strange mix of fry and nymph which can be fished when Chub or Perch are feeding on small fry and minnows, or as an attractor to insite a take.
